- Welcome to Nancy Lea Yoga

I am a 500-hour E-RYT Yoga Teacher with over 25 years of personal practice and 14 years of professional teaching experience. My teaching is rooted in the Eight Limbs of Yoga, moving far beyond the physical asana to offer a holistic, breath-anchored experience. I emphasize the duality of the practice: the strength of alignment paired with the sweetness of surrender.
My teaching has been described as nourishing, clear, insightful, and “a beautiful, peaceful practice that strengthens the body and calms the mind.” By integrating the Eight Limbs into every session, I encourage students to move beyond the physical and carry their cultivated awareness into daily life. To practice with me - whether in the Pacific Northwest or at an international retreat- is to embark on a journey toward your own "inner teacher," guided by a teacher who values compassion, joy, and the deep peace of the present moment.
Whether leading weekly studio classes, international retreats, or private mentorship, I aim to create a container that is nourishing, clear, and insightful. I remain a dedicated student of the practice, sharing yoga’s ancient wisdom with a profound respect for my teachers and the lineage of teachers who came before them. “Our wisest teacher lies within our own hearts and guides us through the world with grace, compassion and kindness.”
